A curated list of the top 10 Gen Z Influencers who are dominating Singapore’s social media.

True influence is about leveraging authenticity.” This is fax, no printer – as the generation, we speak of would say. From how we talk and present ourselves to what we buy and what we choose to wear – we are the reflection of a new age. A new age where influencers dominate the social space and have the ability to shape lifestyles.

With this in mind, how can brands leverage authentic influencers in Singapore that break through the noise while captivating audiences and getting them to take the desired action? It all starts with finding the right influencer who best fits your brand’s mission and goals.

To make things easier, Digital Business Lab shortlisted the top 10 Gen Z influencers in Singapore. These influencers rapidly gain popularity in the region from beauty to fitness while delivering quality content that engages and inspires the new wave of internet consumers. This list of Gen Z influencers (born in the mid-1990s and early 2000s) was picked from in-house research. It covers Instagram profiles as the primary channel with additional insights about the influencers’ engagement rate and demographic of followers on their main channels via media and intelligence tools powered by Upfluence.

#1: @imanfandi17 IMAN FANDI

The daughter of Singapore’s Football legend, Fandi Ahmad, and Fashion Model, Wendy Jacobs, Iman Fandi follows in her mother’s footsteps by shaking up the fashion scene in Singapore. Spotting bold and edgy thigh-high boots to athletic wear made fashion, brands can count on Iman to make any piece trendy to the everyday consumer. Prominent brands such as Adidas, Acuvue, and TAG Huer have noticed this budding talent and engaged her for multiple social media campaigns to date. 

Besides her love for fashion, she’s currently branching out into the music industry and released her first single, “Timeframe” in early February with Universal Music. Brands outside of the fashion industry should keep a close eye on Iman Fandi as we are certain that her followers will take a liking to any venture she pursues next.

Thanks to his talent, Singapore’s Hip Hop scene has begun to thrive. Despite his fame, Fariz remains humble. In an interview with Stratosphere, he says, “I’m not the most important person in the world. But I’m trying to make myself important enough to make money so that I can affect the world.” Safe to say, his followers not only love his catchy tunes but gravitate to his likable personality as well.
